The MJ Show #90 (Metallica - Garage Inc.)

One of my favourite Metallica albums has always been Garage Inc.
All people out there who keep talking about how great bands = originals ... check out this album.
All the songs in this album were covers but how bloody brilliant are they!
Playing covers is a part of a band's life. Every band starts by playing covers and playing songs that inspired them. Don't hate bands around you who do that. If they're good...they ARE good. Leave it at that.

Anyhow, forget what I said. Just check out these songs.
These songs are incredible. Some of my favourite songs done by Metallica are down here!

Garage Inc. is a cover album by American heavy metal band Metallica, released in 1998. Over 2.5 million copies have been sold in the US as certified by the RIAA. It includes recorded cover versions of songs, all of their b-side covers released up to that point, and the entire The $5.98 E.P.: Garage Days Re-Revisited, which had gone out of print since its original release in 1987.
The title is a combination of Garage Days Re-Revisited and their song Damage, Inc. The album features artists that have influenced Metallica, including many bands from the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal...don't worry, I'll do a show on it soon.) movement.
