The MJ Show #20 (The White Christmas Special)
In my opinion, the greatest Christmas song ever was White Christmas.
It is an Irving Berlin song reminiscing about an old-fashioned Christmas setting. The version sung by Bing Crosby is the best selling single of all time.
Crosby's "White Christmas" single has been credited with selling 50 million copies, the most by any release. The Guinness Book of World Records lists the song as a 100-million seller, encompassing all versions of the song, including albums.
What I have for you here are various versions of the song...going through all genres. Starting with a couple of instrumental versions, a few pop versions, a few country versions, some jazz versions and then then finally the oldies singing this great song.
I've kept three versions of the song by Bing Crosby.
He first sang the song in 1942 for a movie called "Holiday Inn" (you see that version here) and then again twice, in 1954 in a movie called "White Christmas" :)
