The MJ Show #116 (...Featuring Norah Jones)

I know it's been a long long time since we had an episode of The MJ Show.
I apologize for that. Have just been very busy shooting my first tv series. I'm anchoring a music reality show for Zee Business now and it's been a lot of fun traveling with them shooting the episodes.
The show will start from the 16th of October (this saturday) and it's on air at 9pm. It repeats the next day (sunday) at 10am.
Also I've been busy with the new radio show - One Mumbai One Music on 94.3 Radio One. I hope you've caught a few episodes of that. I've had some fabulous guests on my show so far and I've got some more great guests coming in soon.
That being said, I apologize once again for not putting up anything for so long :)
Let me rectify that a bit now with the fab album preview for you.

Brilliant new album that features Norah Jones along with some incredible singers is being released in November. Here's a sneak preview of the album!
Make sure you go out and buy it!! It's worth every rupee!

1. Love Me – The Little Willies

2. Virginia Moon – The Foo Fighters featuring Norah Jones

3. Turn Them – Sean Bones featuring Norah Jones
Now I didn't get the version featuring Norah...but here's how the song sounds with Merida Rose doing Norah's parts.

4. Baby It's Cold Outside – Willie Nelson featuring Norah Jones

5. Bull Rider – Norah Jones and Sasha Dobson

6. Ruler Of My Heart – Dirty Dozen Brass Band featuring Norah Jones
Again, couldn't get Norah's version so here's the original by Irma Thomas!

10. Soon The New Day – Talib Kweli featuring Norah Jones

11. Little Lou, Prophet Jack, Ugly John – Belle & Sebastian featuring Norah Jones

12. Here We Go Again – Ray Charles featuring Norah Jones
(One of my most favourite songs featuring Norah Jones. Why? Two words - RAY CHARLES!)

13. Loretta – Norah Jones featuring Gillian Welch and David Rawlings

14. Dear John – Ryan Adams featuring Norah Jones
(Couldn't get a good version of the song featuring Norah...but here's Ryan Adams doing it with a band called The Cardinals.)

15. Creepin' In – Norah Jones featuring Dolly Parton
(Holy smokes! Dolly Parton and Norah Jones! :)

16. Court & Spark – Herbie Hancock featuring Norah Jones

17. More Than This – Charlie Hunter featuring Norah Jones

Hope you enjoyed that! Make sure you go and pick up this album. It's brilliant!
It'll be out in November and this is what it looks like.

I know it's been a while since my last show here. Sorry about that guys and girls. Been a little busy these days. Feels really good to tell you all that I'm back on radio. All you have to do is tell me the names of any 3 bands on the soundtrack of Eclipse and tell me why you like the Twilight Saga. Simple right. Well it's meant to be. I just want to see how many of you take part. If we have a lot of people taking part...I might just go ahead and give out 4 copies of the album!
Go for it then! Comment away. Right now! :)

Right then...it is now time for me to say...take care...and Good Night! :)
