The MJ Show #80 (Dark Side Of The Moon for NES)

Have you ever wondered what Dark Side of the Moon would sound like if Pink Floyd had written it for Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), instead of for a rock band?
(Remember those old games? Full fun they were na?)

Well, my friend, Saurabh Kanwar (@kanwarsation) probably did and he found this: http://rainwarrior.thenoos.net/music/moon8.html
I had to share this with you because I think it is absolutely stunning stuff!
This show is dedicated to Saurabh with thanks for bringing this to our notice! (Our = YOU and me) :)

Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon was arranged for NES by Brad Smith!
Famitracker was used to sequence the whole thing. The sound was rendered with NSFplug. Final editing was done with Audacity.
No expansion chips were used; this album works entirely within the limits of the standard North American NES.

MOON8 - 1 of 6 - Speak to Me / Breathe / On the Run

MOON8 - 2 of 6 - Time / Breathe Reprise

MOON8 - 3 of 6 - The Great Gig in the Sky

MOON8 - 4 of 6 - Money

MOON8 - 5 of 6 - Us and Them

MOON8 - 6 of 6 - Any Colour You Like / Brain Damage / Eclipse

Incredible stuff eh?! The things you find on youtube! Brilliant!! :)

Right then...it is now time for me to say...take care...and Good Night! :)
